The Company Oversoul Games is a megacorporation, all about making fun role playing games, wargames, paper miniatures, and other subcultural socially deviant, and brainwashing activities! All of our games are free, easy, and fun. We aim to get rid of the hassle and rule lawyering that too often ruins a perfect saturday night game. Down with the obsessive requirement to buy sourcebook after sourcebook or more and more miniatures. To feed your addiction you should not have to give blood to some game company! The Staff Bobby, Artist, Writer Oversoul Games was originally the demonic and synical brain child of Bobby Wallen, an eccentric genius. His disdain of modern society's attitude towards nearly everything has forced him to throw off the shackles of the smoke and mirror parlor tricks, and flee with his family deep into the backwoods. Bobby relishes in his childish, Peter Pan like imagination. It has fueled his love for gaming, cartoons, and drawing. Mix in that with the above mentioned socio-political views and you have for one dangerous combination and wierd guy! Among his favorite cartoon's and comics are: Flintstones, Scoobie-Doo, Thunder Cats, Voltron, The Tick, Peanuts, Batman, Spiderman, and X-men just to name a few! PJ, Artist in Residence The head of the European branch of Oversoul Games, PJ Pieterek, is the artist in residence as well. In order to keep the hoards of fans at bay he has chosen to go under the name Bryn Brenainn on the internet. When he found Oversoul-Games he felt at home at once. Here is an opportunity to do cartoony pictures, while still keeping true to personal style. His cartoon big heroes are among others; Stan Sakai with his Usagi Yojimbo and Jeff Smith's Bone. Will Eisner and Scott McCloud must be mentioned in every blurb on comics too. In other media, be it books, movies or games or what have you, the most popular gengre is Sci-Fi with a smattering of Fantasy. Shaun, Rulesmith Supremo Shaun is the head of the Austrailian branch of Oversoul Games. Shaun is a veteran of gaming community with 16 years of rulesmithing experience and has seen one set of rules go commerical. He got into paper miniatures four years ago and has been a trail blazer in the revolution ever since, helping to produce several commercial models for Paper Tiger Armaments. His main hobby is gaming whether it be RPGs, wargaming, or board gaming. His favorite genres in order of importance are Mecha, more general sci-fi, fantasy, and a mattering of WW2. He credits true Japanese children's Manga (NOT WESTERNIZED!!) as his comic inspirations. |
